Love Letters: A Curated Calligraphy Workshop at Lovebirds

Enjoy a thoughtfully curated afternoon learning the art of modern brush calligraphy inside Lovebirds, our Valentine’s pop-up experience.

Modern calligraphy is the brush lettering style you love and see everywhere—and this intimate, beginner-friendly workshop is designed for all skill levels. Class size will be small, allowing plenty of time for questions and one-on-one instruction.

We’ll cover the basics of brush lettering along with the lost art of envelope addressing and sending handwritten mail. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have two beautifully addressed envelopes ready to mail to someone you love.

Your instructor, Amanda, has over 10 years of hand-lettering experience and has been teaching workshops for over 5 years. This workshop is welcoming for all ages and experience levels.

✨ Each attendee will receive:

Instruction sheet & practice paper

Two brush markers (Tombow & Pentel brands)

Two cards with envelopes (choose your own designs)

Postage stamps, including vintage stamps no longer in circulation

One hand-lettered place card

Light snacks, water & sodas

Full access to the Lovebirds Valentine’s Pop-Up space & shop (earrings, headbands, sunglasses, Valentine’s Cards & more!) and photobooth
